For nearly 20 years a Medical Doctor, a respected athlete, had been diagnosed with asthma. Until recently she maintained an uninterrupted life, volunteering at the local elementary school, attending family events and remaining very active. Today she and her family are impacted by air pollution caused by factories in many urban areas.
Currently she takes controlled medications such as inhalers and steroids to survive daily life. Her family takes over-the-counter medicines, three to four times per day to manage their lung disorder symptoms. In fact several weeks ago the family had a serious emergency due to an adult related asthma condition.
Many scientist agree that global warming or air pollution is both naturally occurring and also generated by man-made activities such as manufacturing, marketing and transporting consumer products. The 770 Million Citizen Sustainable Living Challenge is focused on man-made activities that cause air pollution. We seeks your ideas and potential air pollution solutions from a cross section of the global population that will reduce air pollution in your community.
According to the World Health Organization the adult and child mortality rate (asthma and lung disorder) is projected to reach 3 Million Citizens per year. Help us by providing potential ideas and solutions that may reduce lung related illness. Two potential ideas may include reducing excess physical product inventory or reducing the number of trucks on the road per day. Please share your voice and give us your ideas and potential solutions.
